Adam H. Juviler is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He spent six years training in general surgery at the University of Vermont and completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery in Seattle. Dr. Juviler is specially qualified to diagnose and manage problems of the anus, rectum, colon and small intestine, including hemorrhoids, prolapse, cancer, and inflammatory bowel disease. He is on active staff at Holy Family Hospital, Deaconess Medical Center, and Sacred Heart Medical Center. He is available to see patients at our North office. Dr. Juviler treats colorectal surgery emergencies at Holy Family Hospital, Deaconess Hospital, and Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Dr. Juviler has a great “bedside” manner. He is easy to talk with and takes his time with you to explain things and answer all your questions. I first saw Dr. Juviler in Holy Family ER and then again at my follow-up appointment in his office. Office staff were great as well.
He always listens to what I'm talking about; he's a very caring doctor.
I love Dr J's approach. I'm sorry he won't be my surgeon. His team is great as well. No one was phased by the power outage.

Though it took about 3 months to get my appt with Dr. Juviler, he was excellent, listened well, gave helpful information, and treated me professional and kindly. His staff was welcoming,(much more personable than previously), and I would definitely recommend Dr. Juviler to others needing his expertise.
He was open to questions and answered openly as well. During my weeks at SHMC, either the doctor or his representative came in every day.

Excellent doctor! Very knowledgeable and reassuring. I have a difficult to heal wound, that has required several invasive procedures. He never fails to reassure me that “we'll get through this” no matter how stubborn this is.

I came to the ER. Had x-ray & CAT scan. The resident doctor that was on that day came in and let me know that Dr Juviler would be there shortly and that I was going to be admitted for emergency surgery. After that, Dr. Juviler came in quick! I have had Dr. Juviler in my past and he is wonderful. Excellent superb appreciated.!!!
