Ovarian cystectomy
Ovarian cystectomy
Removing ovarian cysts while preserving the ovary.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop on or within the ovary. While many cysts resolve on their own, persistent or symptomatic cysts may require surgical removal.
Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy removes the cyst while leaving the healthy ovarian tissue intact, preserving hormonal function and fertility potential. We evaluate cyst characteristics with imaging and lab work to guide the surgical plan and ensure appropriate follow-up.
