Non-Surgical Treatments
Non-Surgical Treatments
Pelvic floor physical therapy, biofeedback, behavioral changes, and pessary fittings.
Many pelvic floor conditions improve with nonsurgical approaches. Pelvic floor physical therapy strengthens and coordinates the muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and rectum, while biofeedback helps you learn to control those muscles more effectively.
Behavioral modifications—such as bladder training, dietary adjustments, and fluid management—are often the first step. Pessary fitting provides mechanical support for prolapse without surgery. We work with you to find the combination that best addresses your symptoms.
