Hysteroscopic surgery
Hysteroscopic surgery
Removing polyps, fibroids, or restoring normal uterine anatomy—all through the cervix without incisions.
Hysteroscopy uses a thin, lighted scope passed through the cervix to visualize and treat conditions inside the uterus. Because the procedure uses the body's natural opening, there are no abdominal incisions and recovery is typically rapid.
We perform hysteroscopic removal of polyps and submucosal fibroids, lysis of intrauterine adhesions (Asherman's syndrome), and removal of intrauterine septum. Diagnostic hysteroscopy to identify an intrauterine lesion can often be done in the office. We also offer procedures under light sedation.
