An inguinal hernia occurs when tissue, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles in the groin area. For most patients with symptomatic hernias or hernias that are enlarging, surgical repair is recommended to prevent complications.

We perform both open and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Laparoscopic repair is often preferred for bilateral hernias or recurrent hernias, offering benefits including less postoperative pain and faster recovery. We use modern mesh materials to reinforce the repair and reduce the risk of recurrence.
